| Dr. Ho Jyu-Shiou (right),
a member of Tzu Chi's second Pakistan Earthquake Relief Medical
Team, presented a paper with Tzu Chi Medical Center Vice President
Shyr Ming-Hwang in Paris last year. "Dr. Ho was the first
first-year resident in Taiwan to present a paper abroad,"
Dr. Shyr pointed out. Seeing off his student to a remote country,
Dr. Shyr offered his good wishes and full-hearted support by
loaning Dr. Ho his stethoscope, which was used in caring for
Venerable Master Yin Shun.
