In order to help care for flood survivors in Bolivia, Tzu Chi members in that country donated a used bus. Capable of seating 30 passengers, it will be used for free medical clinics in outlying areas. 02/28/08

Considering my own endurance and adaptability, I had long been hesitant to participate in any international disaster relief lest I, myself, became a liability for the team.

Street Fundraising-a form of spiritual cultivation
Unable to join the on-site relief efforts this time, I participated in a Northern California fundraising outside a supermarket. When disasters occur, we learn that people respond in various ways.

Be careful and mindful when dealing with others, but do not be narrow-minded.
