The
Hall of Great Giving

The Hall of Great Giving is a feature of
the Anatomy Department of the Tzu Chi Medical College. It is
located on the second floor of the rear building of the college.
Here the ashes of those who donated their bodies for medical
research are kept.
Inside the hall, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva
(the guardian of the underworld) is worshipped, and the chanting
of the Buddha's name resonates endlessly around the clock. Families
of donors and members of the general public can visit at any
time to pay respects.
