Everything in this world possesses karma. However, if people desire fortune and happiness, then they must sow the seeds of good karma. This book is based on the three principles for cultivating the purest kind of karma by practicing good deeds in daily life. It teaches everyone how to sow clear and pure "seeds" to reap fortune and happiness. These three principles originally came from the sutra
on Observing the Buddha of Boundless Age. In the main part of this sutra,
Sakyamuni Buddha teaches Queen Vaidehi how to observe the Western Pure
Land of Amitabha Buddha so that anyone can go there after death. The Buddha
also explains to her that people can attain Buddhahood by practicing these
three principles.
