Celebrating a New Home in
Argentina
A new and permanent
home has been found for Tzu Chi's liaison office in Argentina
after years of relocation and searching. Naturally, this called
for a celebration. Foreign delegates attending a symposium
on rural planning in Taiwan seized the opportunity to learn
about Tzu Chi's humanitarian spirit, which they hope to take
back to foster in their own country.
It's an exciting
day for Tzu Chi volunteers in Argentina, because after 13
years and 4 relocations, the local liaison office finally
has a permanent home. This is the Tzu Chi volunteer who offered
his home as a recycling station, then converted it into a
meeting place, capable of holding over 200 people, and even
free clinics. Students from the local Chinese school also
came to give their blessings.
One of the Tzu
Chi Volunteers, Min An, expressed that "Being a Tzu Chi
volunteer, the most precious thing is the chance to start
being a decent human being by learning from the Master's teachings."
