Tzu Chi relief actions in Malaysia Flood (2007/01/09) Malaysia was overwhelmed by one of the worst flood in recent years in December 2006. According to IFRC, nearly 100,000 people were displaced by the flood.

Tzu Chi donates 200 power generators and 1,152 bottled water to the Beaumont police warehouse (2005/9/28) In response to the request of United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, Matthew D. Orwig, Tzu Chi Texas purchased 200 power generators from Home Depot, each costing about US$700. 1,152 cases of bottled drinking water were also acquired. The total cost was US$142,000. All these relief supplies were delivered to the Beaumont police warehouse within two days. The cost of shipping and delivery of about US$2,400 was generously donated by Home Depot.
