Hero

By Michele Sun, Northern California

He is a man you may have never met before
or he may be the man next door
he may be someone you know
he's a hero.

She puts her lipstick on
who would have known
that some day it will be shown she's strong
she may be someone you know
she’s a hero.

Some have white coats on
and have to leave their home
leaving the ones they love to cry alone
they may be someone you know
they are a hero.

~~ I would like to dedicate this poem to Dr. Chaucer Lin and all the medical staffs that are fighting SARS at the frontline.
