Tzu Chi New York Chapter (14 volunteers):

Tzu Chi deployed 2 teams of
volunteers into Manhattan disaster area. One team consists
of 13 volunteers from New York, while the other team consists
of 19 volunteers from New Jersey. A total of 32 Tzu Chi volunteers
are on their way to assist rescue workers. Because of the
tight security control, Tzu Chi volunteers are entering Manhattan
disaster area with members of the Salvation Army. The volunteers
will be providing drinking water and medical supplies to the
rescue workers.
